Recording went very well. Were all extremely happy with it. It stays true to our live performance and gives a nice idea of where we are as a band. Its nice to have this. I think the best thing for Minor Wits is just to keep going, i just want to play shows. It gives me a chance to just let it all out and try to make a connection to whoever is listening. My friends have been nothing but support and i cant thank them enough.
All three of us have busy lives and the in’s and outs of everyday can set us back as a band, but this weekend just made it all go away. Our engineer understood us, and our relationship with him just worked. I am proud to say that “Bedroom Blues” is complete honest showing of who I am. I know its something that makes me truly happy. All the songs are personal stories/ re-enforcement letters to ones I love and hold dear. Who knows what the new stuff will sound like, or what I’ll write about next. I just know that I’ve been doing this sense i was 15 and I’ve always just went with it. There has never been a break from writing songs, or giving up on the idea of writing songs.
